Wow, Theresa! I love these senior portraits! From the bright colors of your Vineyard Vines shirt to the classic look of your Lilly Pulitzer dress, you showed such different looks and wore them both well. I love that we found such great places in Carytown to really show off your style, too. It was such a fun evening and I wish you the best for the rest of your senior year.
About Maddison: I'm so excited to have Maddison in my Senior Model Group this year! She brings such an honest and energetic vibe to everything. She has her own unique sense of style (did you see the pink hair?) and exudes confidence. She'll be a senior at Lee Davis High School in Mechanicsville VA, enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program. Maddison enjoys being involved in school and church activities. This past summer, she demonstrated a heart of service on church mission trips to Haiti and Florida. As she enters her senior year, she'll represent the Confederates as a member of their varsity volleyball team. About the session: Maddison's senior portrait session was a blast! During our pre-session consultation she described her first outfit: black dress with pearls and red and white polka dot shoes. I couldn't wait to see her against these bold murals along the canal walk on Brown's Island. After we played around the colorful murals, we switched gears and opted for a more casual look with the beautiful James River as her backdrop. The result was amazing variety in her senior portraits and an experience worth remembering. Thanks Maddison for a great evening in downtown RVA! Senior Model Group:
As a part of the Class of 2016 Senior Model Group, Maddison had a few additional group sessions! Here are a few of my favorites that have been featured on my website and client packets! Theresa comes to the Class of 2016 Senior Model Group from Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, Virginia, right down the road from me! I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have this girl in the senior model group. The first time I met her, I was struck by how well she presented herself. I can only hope I had half of that poise when I was her age! She has been great to work with, always turning the ideas in my head into something way more beautiful. Here are some of the highlights from her model sessions. I can't wait for your actual senior session this summer, Theresa! We are going to have so much fun! Too good to be true! This is what happens when you collaborate to create amazing senior portraits. Laura's mom responded to my call for senior models, and I'm so glad that she did. Laura was so positive and friendly and looked so amazing through my lens!
Even though she's a stunner to begin with, we had some help with having her look her best. Her hairstylist, Hair by Heather, came out on location to give her hair some soft curls. Even though she has great skin, her makeup artist, Image by Melissa Miller, gave her a beautifully polished look. Our gorgeous location was compliments of Cindy at Coventry Farm in Ashland. Laura and her family have horses at the farm and Laura rides and competes in local events. Thank you ladies for working with us on this photo shoot. The amazing results are part of your hard work, too! I absolutely enjoyed my time with Laura. She's sweet and isn't afraid to be a bit funny, too. She doesn't sit still much these days, either. Most days you'll find her practicing for show choir, riding her horse, or helping out at her church. She's such an all-around great girl. Enjoy your senior year, Laura! May it be one of your greatest memories! |
